Classic Villa Restoration

Resurrection of a Stanley Point classic villa, circa 1910

One of the first villas built in Stanley Point, it was modified in the 1960’s with ceilings being lowered and exterior decoration and windows removed.

The new owners, inspired by the original photograph from the early 20th century, engaged Stephen Jones Architects to design additions and alterations sympathetic with the building and to reinstate the character of the old villa.

Other than the fact that it now looks like a character home, it is in fact a modern building with all the latest amenities and renewed core services.

Now this fully refurbished house will stand for another 100 years or more.

This house was awarded Gold in the 2016 Registered Master Builders House of the Year category Renovation over $500,000.
